Rebecca Critser has been selected as the recipient of the Richard and Kaye Woltman Endowed Fellowship in Health Communications for the 2017-18 academic year in recognition of her endeavors in bioethics, philosophy and health care law.

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis earned two awards at the National Association for Campus Activities Mid America Conference. The Student Activities Programming Board was named the Programming Organization of the Year, and senior Kendal Lang was named Outstanding Undergraduate Student Leader.

More than 17,000 people will be involved in the marathon event Nov. 5. Several hundred will be from the School of Physical Education and Tourism Management at IUPUI. Students will help "run" the event, both as training partners for kids from Indianapolis Public Schools and as volunteers to manage the event.

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie presided today over the groundbreaking ceremony for new state-of-the-art clinics at the IU School of Dentistry. The contemporary, $21.6 million building addition will provide 125 new patient treatment rooms for the state's only dental school.
